Well park my golf cart....
Who would have suspected, just a short while ago, that we'd be where we are now. I hope you and yours are fine. I know for many, this has been a time of reevaluating, and rescheduling. I hope you've been in touch with your renters and that they can come when the fall tournament is held. I've already heard from some for whom this does not work, either on one side or the other. I hope you've been in touch with your agent or your renters to see how to make the best of that unfortunate situation.
Meanwhile, everyone has time to sit back and create what might be an even better rental experience. You likely have unlimited time to sort, clear, plan, plant,...all the things we put off so endlessly. So do it. You may have a spouse at home with no plan for the weekend. Try a room rearrangement. Clean out the garage together. Do something that time never allows for in "normal time." Paint a room, fix something you've put off, declutter and simplify.
This is new time for all of us. For me, I find it helps to keep to a schedule, find time to walk daily, do chores, and add in one "special" thing. I have a board with my "things I've always put off" list and I look at it daily and choose a thing on it to tackle.
If you'd like a more concise way of doing things? Southern Living has a great one HERE.
There are many such sites with decluttering and streamlining your home. It's a great time to do it.
The prep blog will begin again on July 1 when I hope will get back to "normal life". My hope is that we will NEVER have time like this again. So put it to good use. You will feel better each day having accomplished something you've put off for "someday when I have time". Surprise. Here it is. Go do good things.
